Back in the old days of records, tapes and CDs, my collection was meticulously alphabetized. When I became man enough to stop pretending I was straight and people asked me what kind of music I liked, I felt confident enough to divulge that Barry Manilow was on the shelf between Madonna and Marilyn Manson.
This week, I’ve got a collection of musical softballs that speak to my gentler side – a little feel-good bubblegum to lighten the mood. When I listen to these songs and others like them, things seem a little brighter. I hope you enjoy them.
