To me, a haircut is a very personal thing. The trick is to find a skilled craftsman with experience and a style you like. Your barber should be someone who “gets” you.

I’ve known my barber for almost 20 years. After indulging me with a mess of different looks (and colors) in my twenties and early thirties, Dean has helped me come into my forties with something that feels right and suits me well. We move it around a bit over time, but it’s always a very custom fit, so to speak.

Since the haircut is something I have to wear everyday, I like to see him every two or three weeks. I never want to look like I “need” a haircut. Not only is it a good grooming, but my time with Dean is always riddled with hilarious stories and tons of laughs.

I love getting my hair cut. Every guy should.
