My New Duffel Bag from Owen & Fred

A few weeks ago, I wrote a piece here about Owen & Fred’s Kickstarter campaign for a new line of bags they wanted to… well… kickstart. The bags would all cost under $100 and be made here in NYC by the fine folks at Owen & Fred in Brooklyn. I pledged their $79 “Earlybird” option, which granted me my choice of one of the new duffel bags as soon as they went into production. (I went with gray/black.) The new bag arrived yesterday, and my weekend/overnight/carry-on bag problem is solved. Color me happy.

  1. I love that bag! It’s absolutely perfect in its simplicity. I’m a big lover of grey, my wardrobe is mostly grey but I’ve never found a great grey bag. That one is superb.
