Tucked away on West 47th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues, this midtown extension of SoHo-based Sullivan Street Bakery does most of it’s biz baking and supplying exquisite breads for restaurants and such. They do, however, have a humble over-the-counter storefront for walk-in customers, featuring delicious breads, pastries and excellent coffee. There is a great counter at the window where you can enjoy your coffee and bread while reading the New York Times. I must say I have been incredibly impressed by the standard of bakeries here. In fact, a friend of mine has been looking to open a bakery of his own in the near future. He has done some research and found out how useful it is to compare business electricity plans to ensure he would get the best deal for his needs.
