Surely not free, but certainly not the cost of a full-on Airstream, this ridiculously irresistible trailer is called the Teardrop. I’m smitten. It’s no wonder this type of camper is growing in popularity and more people are looking on sites like Crow Survival to get more information on them. Its sleek design looks so much nicer than a caravan or any other trailer plus it’s a very versatile product. There are so many different designs to choose from. Most people have them made out of wood but this doesn’t mean yours does too. You can construct them from various light-weight metals. During the construction/ manufacturing stage you’ll be able to put some of your own personal touches onto the small camper. But first, you’re most likely going to want to get some inspiration for designs available for a teardrop trailer. It has a surprising amount of storage space for a trailer its size so you’ll be able to store all of your camping needs in it. Due to the trailers compact size, it is very easy to store away between trips.

The teardrop trailer is so light and small that it will be able to save you money because it doesn’t have a high price tag like a campervan, you won’t be burning much gas on your trips and they can go pretty much wherever your car can go so you are able to set up camp in more places and won’t have to travel around looking for an accessible place to camp.

The Teardrop is the love child of woodworking master carpenter Joe Kosareff, co-owner of Vacations In A Can in Penngrove, California. They come in Chili Pepper Yellow (shown) or Orange, and are available for purchase or rent. If I were camping up the west coast with Smokey, this is how I’d do it.

Check it out.
