A Smart New Handlebar Bag from Brooklyn Bicycle Co.

Anybody who rides a bike can use an extra compartment for things like lock and chain keys, a phone, a tire repair kit, a bag of weed… The big challenge is finding one that balances looks, durability and price. Brooklyn Bicycle Co. just introduced one that does just that.

The new Oxford Handlebar Bag is made of waxed canvas and upcycled inner tube rubber on the outside, and lined with waterproof X-pac fabric on the inside. It has straps for fastening to the handlebar and a detachable wrist strap for easy carrying. Due to individual markings on the inner tube rubber, each bag is totally unique and manufactured by accessories maker EvenOdd Creative in New York.

The bag measures 8.5″ x 5.0″ x 2.0″ and goes for a cool $60. Nice.
