Most apps in the iTunes App Store are nonsense. Other than Solitaire and Words with Friends, I’m not really a gamer. I tend to be drawn to apps that actually help my productivity, creativity and organization. Jennifer Shore at Mashable curated a terrific list of iPhone apps that are both useful and free. My personal favorites are iRuler, Flashlight, Easy Envelope Budget Aid and, of course, Cloth.
