Before he became a rapper, Ice Cube studied Architectural Drafting at the Phoenix Institute of Technology. First Run Features Charles and Ray Eames are probably my favorite designers of the mid-century movement. I am the proud owner of two Eames Plastic Armchairs, an Eames Round Table, an Eames Aluminum Management Chair and the Eames Hang-It-All. Overkill? Perhaps. Eames Originals In Gramercy Animal Hospital

Having just spent a fantastic evening with Aunt Julie and cousins Alexandra and Mike Hahn, I dropped Julie and Mike off at their Gramercy Park hotel and strolled westward on 17th Street. Between Park & Broadway, my eye was caught by bright red Eames originals: fiberglass (not plastic like the current Herman Miller issue) shell armchairs.
