Keeping consistent with my “Make Your Own Damn Coffee” tip, I just picked up a pound of Columbian Supremo French Roast beans at Empire Coffee & Tea. Otherwise, I order from Hyper Hound Coffee in Texas (their coffee is fantastic, and they donate 15% of their profits to no-kill animal shelters) or grab a pound from Porto Rico Importing Co. when I’m in their neighborhood in the Village or SoHo.
I also picked up more Brita water filters. Don’t buy bottled water. Not only is it expensive, it creates a ridonkulous amount of plastic waste. Bad for the environs.
